Introduction and scope
This Cookie Policy explains how Smart Roofing AI, Inc. (“Smart Roofing AI,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on smartroofing.ai (the “Site”). It is part of our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and how to use your privacy rights.
The Site is intended for people in the United States, and this policy reflects U.S. federal and state law. It covers our public website, not our software platform for roofing contractors, which is governed by its own customer agreement and privacy terms.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember your choices and help us understand how visitors use it.
- First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose tools run on the Site.
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
- Similar technologies include pixels (small pieces of code that report a page view) and your browser’s local and session storage. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.
Cookies we use
We use strictly necessary storage to run the Site. Everything else stays off until you choose Accept in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time with in the Site footer.

Our demo booking runs through our own Site, so our scheduling provider does not place cookies in your browser.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies on the Site are placed by the providers below. They may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the site you came from, and their use of it is governed by their own privacy policies.

We do not sell personal information for money. Sending data to Meta through advertising cookies may count as “sharing” for targeted advertising under some state laws, so it happens only with your consent and you can opt out at any time.
Your choices
- Cookie banner and Cookie settings: choose Accept, Decline, or analytics only when you first visit, and change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the Site footer. Declining is as easy as accepting, and closing the banner is not treated as consent.
- Do Not Share My Personal Information: use , also in the Site footer, to turn off advertising cookies and opt out of sharing for targeted advertising. The footer then shows “Opt-Out Request Honored.” To opt out in our records as well, email info@smartroofing.ai.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, keep optional cookies off unless you turn analytics on yourself, and show “Opt-Out Request Honored.” You don’t need to do anything else.
- Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the Site from working.
- Ad-industry opt-outs: you can also opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.
Your choices apply to the browser and device you use. If you clear your browser data or switch browsers, you may need to set them again.

We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of consumers under 16. Cookies on the Site do not collect sensitive personal information. To make any other privacy request, see Your privacy rights.
Other terms
Do Not Track. There is no common standard for the older “Do Not Track” browser setting, so the Site does not respond to it. We do honor Global Privacy Control.
Children. The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly use cookies to collect information from children.
Changes. We may update this policy when our cookies or the law change. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. We review it at least once every 12 months.
